How to paint birds in watercolor. Part II

This post is sequel of the previous tutorial “How to paint birds in watercolor” Part I

In this tutorial you will learn how to draw chickadees! Those beautiful yellow breasted birds, used to come on my balcony every day. Once there was 6 of them and that`s when I started painting them.

1.Start with a sketch

2.Apply the paint

Unfortunately, I didn`t have a bird posing on a cup of coffee but that didn`t stop my imagination and I put two things I love on one place. By the way that`s not the only bird-coffee related painting I`ve made. 🙂

Yep, I need my morning coffee! But who doesn`t? 😀 back on the tutorial…

3. Start painting the chickadee.

Don`t get into detail at this stage. Apply the main colors of the bird first.

4.Get into detail once you have applied the colors of the bird

5. Scan your painting and adjust the levels on Photoshop

If you have any questions about the process of painting, please ask in the comments bellow! 🙂
