I want to share with you this super easy, extremely tasty and healthy recipe for raw bonbons! After making them for the 3rd time, I discovered how I can make them last longer and taste even better (I didn`t believe this was possible). Simply put them in the freezer and see for yourself how magnificent the bonbons will taste! Don`t wait for them to thaw, eat them right away and if there are some left-put them back in the freezer.
For 50 bonbons you will need:
- 1 tea cup goji berry soaked in water
- 100g wallnuts
- 100g almond
- 100g dried plums
- 150g dates
- 50g rasins and red berries soaked in red rum
- 1tbsp tahin
- 1tbsp honey
- 100g oat flakes
- 50gr coconut flakes
- 50gr carob powder/or cocoa powder
Blend all the ingredients. Mix them all in a big bowl.The texture should be sticky and thick. Use a tea spoon or with your hands take some of the mixture and make small balls.
Roll the bonbons in the coconut flakes. The bonbons are sticky enough so don`t worry, the flakes will stick to the candy.
Roll some of the bonbons in carob or cocoa powder. I prefer the taste of carob powder but there is not much difference so you can use cacao as well. Mmm…tasty vegan truffles!
And now you can freeze your yummy bonbons or enjoy them right away! By the way it took me less than 15min to prepare! Let me know in the comments bellow if you liked this recipe!
